Why storage matters here

A spreadsheet habit is rarely one SKU. You shortlist sneakers one week and a hoodie the next. Free (or promotional) warehouse time is what lets those finds become one international parcel instead of three expensive ship-outs.

You usually get about 90 days of free storage from a Stored status—confirm in your account. The exact start timing and any overtime fees still follow what your Hipobuy order screen shows.

   Ordered / buying

   You paid the item stage. The seller has not finished delivery to the China warehouse yet—the storage clock usually has not started.

2. 2
   Warehouse intake & QC

   Staff receive the unit and upload photos. You keep it or reject it. Free-storage timing is normally tied to a Stored (or equivalent) status—not the moment you clicked pay.

3. 3
   Stored — build the haul

   About 90 days of free storage from Stored status. Use the window to add more finds, finish QC on late arrivals, then consolidate.

4. 4
   Parcel submitted

   Selected items leave the free-storage mindset and move into packing, weighing, coupons, and international tracking.

What “~90 days” does and does not mean

• It does give you a planning window to run QC, reject weak units, and stack more finds before freight.
• It does not freeze the seller listing, cancel FX on the item stage, or guarantee overtime is free forever.
• It does not necessarily start the day you paste a URL—watch for the Stored (or equivalent) status on your order.
• It does not pause international transit timers—those only start after you submit a parcel.

Wait another week, or ship now?

Use this as a shopper checklist—not a fixed Hipobuy rulebook:

• Wait if a must-have find is still inbound, QC is unfinished, or one more item would clearly beat a second ship-out on volumetric math.
• Ship if the timer is short, overtime risk is rising, or the missing item is optional and would only add bulk.
• Split if one restricted or bulky SKU would force a worse line for the whole haul—sometimes two parcels beat one bad quote.

Storage vs QC vs shipping coupons

1. Arrive, review QC, keep or reject.
2. Hold the remaining goods while more finds arrive.
3. Submit the parcel and apply any live shipping coupons at freight checkout—not while items are mid-QC.
4. After ship-out, switch your attention to tracking rather than warehouse days.

Common mistakes

• Assuming the 90-day clock started on the day you paid for the order
• Shipping three small parcels because “storage feels scary”
• Waiting for one delayed SKU until overtime fees appear
